Methodology


-Student- centered on the communicative approach -Sessions conducted in a Spanish-speaking environment. -A self-access center is also available for students use. -Cultural activities are designed for each level, -The students have an ample opportunity to practice their communication skills by immersion in a Mexican socio-cultural context.

The program


The program "Español y Cultura" is designed to develop fluency in the use of language skills. It is organized by six different levels:

§ Beginners (1-A and 1-B)

§ Intermediate (2-A and 2-B)

§ Advanced (3-A and 3-B).

Each level last: 60 hours


Programa Institucional de la Enseñanza del Español


In response to the growing demand for courses of Spanish as a foreign language, Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY) which is considered one of the top public Universities in Mexico is glad to present its Programa Institucional de Español, .

The Spanish program is based on a practical approach to linguistics with an innovative methodology and was established with the deep commitment of UADY, to promote the learning of Spanish as international language offering the opportunity to acquire language skills in both a linguistic and social context in a program of the highest quality.

The cultural environment propitiates oral and written communication in a setting full of interesting contrasts, the ancient Mayan civilization, Spanish colonialism, and the economical and social development of the present century, in a tranquil yet cosmopolitan city, famous for the characteristic hospitality of its inhabitants.
